Our students had a blast talking with other students and getting into some great conversations about spiritual things. One student commented, "it was my first time sharing my faith, and I loved every minute of it."

Relationships Week a Hit!
The week before Valentine’s day we had our first big outreach to the campus. We called the week “Relationships week” and we designed the week to reach out to the students in a variety of ways. Here are some highlights that we wanted to share with you:
Real Life News distribution
We had the opportunity to pass out newspapers that dealt with the topic of dating and relationships. Many of our students wrote articles for the paper. We also included two articles which were written by Campus Crusade staff portraying the Biblical view of sex and relationships. It was so fun to see the students passing out the newspapers. One of our students took 75 copies and passed them out to everyone in her dorm. In only a day and a half we passed out all 3,500 copies!
Sex, Lies and Relationships
On Thursday, February 11, we invited 2 guest speakers to come and talk on relationships and dating. The title of the talk was “Sex, Lies and Relationships.” We promoted the talk by putting up 400 fliers around campus and by advertising it through the newspaper we handed out.
Many of our students invited their friends from their classes and from their dorms. The speakers did a wonderful job, and at the end of their talk they shared with students how they could have a personal relationship with God.
As a result of the talk, there were 3 students that indicated that they made a decision to have a personal relationship with God! Dave and I will now begin the process of contacting the students and helping them to grow in their new relationship with God.
See you at the flagpole
Every day during the week we met as a group at the flagpole to go out on campus and talk to students about Christ. We initiated converstations with students by conducting a short questionnaire on Love and Dating.
As we discussed the idea of relationships with students, we were able to introduce the idea of a relationship with God. Many students were eager to hear more. As a group we had the chance to share Christ with about 40 students on campus.
Our students had a blast talking with other students and getting into some great conversations about spiritual things. One student commented, “it was my first time sharing my faith, and I loved every minute of it.”
Let’s Celebrate!
On Friday, we had a celebration party to get together and share about what God had done during the week. It was an awesome time for the students to hear about what they had all experienced. Dave and I are so pleased to see these students growing and learning about what it means to follow Christ. Thanks for your part in influencing these students.
What We're Learning
On the last night of relationships week, we had a party where we asked the students to share what they had learned during the course of the week. Here are some things they said:
- "As a result of sharing my faith with others this week, I have learned so much more about the Christian faith...."
- "I learned how important it is to share with others about how to become a Christian because life is precious and it goes by so fast.."
- "I shared my faith for the first time this week, and I really had a lot of fun..."
