One of the last events that we had for the year was a party celebrating what God has accomplished this year. The students were given an opportunity to share with each other what they were thankful for as they looked back on the year.

We wanted to have a real party atmosphere and we called the party "Building a Heritage."

Dave and I were very encouraged as we listened to the students share. Here are a few comments from the students:

• "I have made so many great friends in this group who have really encouraged me in my relationship with God."
  

• "I've learned how to share my faith with others."
  

• "The Bible study that I was in this year taught me how to grow in my walk with God."
  

• "I can't wait to see what God does in and through our group next year."

After the students shared what they were thankful for, Dave and I shared some of the things that God did this year. The list is very long, so I can't share all that God did this year, but let me share with you some of the highlights:

† 1,950 Questionnaires filled out at the beginning of the year.

† 300 Freshman Survival Kits were passed out. Many who received the kits are still commenting about them.

† 6 students attended the Christmas Conference.

† We made our own newspaper with the gospel printed inside. The students wrote many of the articles, and we passed out 3,400 copies on campus.

† We had a great weekly meeting this year. Many students stepped up and organized the meeting. They planned the music, testimonies, etc. We began the year with a small meeting at our apartment and then moved on to campus. We had up to 30 students attend the meeting.

† We had an outreach on the internet! Approximately 200 people visited our website and were given an opportunity to hear about how they can have a relationship with Christ.

† 300 people were exposed to the gospel this year. 5 people received Christ!

† We have 6 students going on Campus Crusade summer projects this summer.

† We built a group from scratch! We started the year with 2 students, and ended the year with about 25-30. Almost all of our group is freshmen and sophomores, so they will be with us for at least 2-3 more years.

† We have seen life change in students left and right!

† As a group we trained 20 students to share their faith.

† Over 30 students were involved in bible studies throughout the year.

† In all, over 8,000 people were given invitations to hear the gospel through questionnaires, newspapers, website, appointments with students, etc.

† We are beginning to build a heritage on campus!

Dave and I are so thankful for your partnership with us in ministry. We feel privileged to have the opporunity to reach students with the message of God's love & forgiveness.
